Heather Hall, CPA, CGMA, has over 25 years of diversified experience in finance, accounting, treasury and operations within the financial services industry.  In May of 2016, she and other bond industry veterans co-founded 280 CapMarkets, a financial technology start-up focused on providing wealth advisors with the confidence to buy, sell, and manage bonds with a new level of visibility through the company’s cloud-based technology platform.  As the CFO, Heather oversees all finance, accounting, tax, risk management and human resources for the company.  Prior to 280 CapMarkets, Heather was the CFO of WHV Investments, a registered investment advisor, and she previously held a variety of roles in finance at Franklin Templeton Investments.

Heather is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant.  She also holds a Financial and Operations Principal Certification (Series 27) and is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.  Heather previously served as a committee member on the CalCPA Education Foundation’s Financial Literacy Committee and was also actively involved with the Meals on Wheels Association of America as a friendly visitor.  She has a BA in Anthropology from Princeton University as well as a MS in Accountancy from San Diego State University.  In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dog, Romeo, and is passionate about combating elder abuse in her community.
